Width 1000 height depends on how much content you need to put there. Logo size should be high resolution but the exact size depends on the design.

Profile Picture resolutions are 800x800, but most sites let you go up to 1024x1024
Even tho that's the max they let you I recommend making everything in 1920x1080
For thread designs, I don't know I always have a clean template setup.

Logos or any hand drawn art I always double the resolution the client wants.
Like, I design my logo's in a 4k x 4k resolution, sometimes bigger.
I design my Avatars in a 2k x 2k resolution, simply because it provides room for resizing and provides a more crisp image on forum sites like MCM.

Hello thankyou for your responds, but does the computer CPU or wtever its called effect the resolution of the logo? like if i got a shitty mac book air made in 2011 can i get up to 4kx4k resolution?

Yeah, you should be able too, only difference is depending on your monitor's resolution and colour saturation abilities (There is a more technical term for this)

You don't want to do high resolutions if you don't have the processing power because you'll lag :)

Either way, just do your best :)

ah okay thx! helped a lot :)
