skript or java

I have been making skripts for over a year now but i kinda wanna learn Java, would it be a good decision bc idk if it will really add more features etc

Java is much more than skript. Even though it's based on Java.

Also you will get much better performance with java. Skript is the number one to fuck performance up.

You're very limited to what you can create with Skript. I'd highly recommend you to take some time and learn java, trust me it's very worth it.

Any developer will tell you Java > Skript
Skript can be good for quick scripts though, like it is designed for, not huge custom projects

I remember I saw a post once that made the analogy Java is like a car and Skript is like a bike, if you're just going down the road, you may as well use the bike, but if you're going across town then let the car do most of the work for you.

I would recommend learning Java. I've recently started learning it and it's really worth it. You don't need 584 addons anymore like with Skript.

Skript can be great for something basic but if you want to do something more with it you should learn Java.
