Skyblock Odyssey Map 1
Since our last map, the management team has been spending plenty of time reflecting on the economy from previous maps, and looking at the community suggestions. We’ve improved all of our content, and fixed any bugs from the previous seasons, and now hope to fully deliver the perfect Skyblock map! Our goal for this map is that players utilize all the content ideas put into this map to help them progress through the island top leaderboard.

Island top
This map, we are having definite payouts instead of the donation goal style of payouts. We have listened to what the community wanted, and based our decisions on your wishes. We made it so you all knew the payouts before competing in the map! Each island should set their Paypal by using /is setpaypal <paypal> to be eligible for paypal payouts. The payouts below will be weekly, meaning that we pay out 2 times during this map!

Economy
Explaining the economy for this map is not as simple as just providing a list. There are so many features and things for players to discover that will all add on to the economy and influence it. It is recommended that players explore all the features to discover the best method for making money.
Quests
Quests are one of the biggest parts of the economy. This is a core feature that every player should utilize when progressing through this map. There are quests for mining, woodcutting, and farming. At the end of the quest there are good items that can typically only be obtained through the server’s store. Below is a picture of a quest:
Gen Cubes
Although we do have a public mine (/warp mine), we wanted a way for players to mine on their own island without using the cobblestone generator. The only way to mine on your island is by utilizing the Gen Cube, which can be linked into a chest for storage.
Pets
This was a feature that many players wanted buffed last season, so we have taken that into account, and we have buffed our pets, and made many different ways to get them, such as from monthly crates, pets bundles, slot coins, and more.
Lucky Pet: Gives you the possibility to find multiple rewards when opening a crate.
Grinder Pet: Gives you more exp while grinding
Money Pet: Gives you a permanent money booster
Medic Pet: Has a chance to completely heal you
Mining Pet: Gives you more exp while mining
Arcane Pet: Has a chance to evade incoming attacks from your enemies
Token Pet: Gives you a permanent token booster
Grinder Pet: Gives you more exp while grinding
Money Pet: Gives you a permanent money booster
Medic Pet: Has a chance to completely heal you
Mining Pet: Gives you more exp while mining
Arcane Pet: Has a chance to evade incoming attacks from your enemies
Token Pet: Gives you a permanent token booster
Currency
There are 3 different types of currencies on Odyssey. Tokens, Money, and Experience. Each currency serves a unique purpose. Tokens are for special items, Experience is for custom enchant related items, and money can be spent on value, spawners, potions, or anything in /shop.
Custom Enchants
This was one of the biggest things that players wanted to see revamped from the last season, and we delivered those wishes by making new and improved custom enchants. Our senior staff spent hours revamping the enchants and perfecting the system in an attempt to balance them.
Minions
A newly added feature to skyblock Odyssey is minions. Minions are able to do tasks for you, and collect resources for you so that you do not have to. Minions can be obtained through monthly crates, crates, Minion Bundles, and slot coins.
Bosses
Bosses are also a newly added feature, bosses can be obtained in slot coins, crates, and monthly boxes, and can be killed for rewards.
Slot Coins
Slot coins are a type of currency that you are able to obtain from /buy. However, you can also grind for Slot coin fragments with the OP enchant! You need 9 fragments to make a slot coin. You will be able to open slot coins by using the command /bot. Just look at some of the OP rewards these small things offer! The slot bot will receive updates throughout the map.
Ranks
Ranks from last season have been revamped and given many more perks. Players that had ranks on any of our past Skyblock servers will have them on Odyssey. We have balanced the ranks out to make them much better than in the past. If you are interested in an early sneak peek of how the ranks are revamped, head over to the server store!
As much as I’d love to go on about all the features that are being added to this upcoming map, some things are better to leave for a surprise.
