Skyblock Server Prize Pools

Do you recommend adding prize pools for skyblock? Like top 3 get paypal and buycraft. Does it bring in more players and is it worth it?

TBH, people would only join for the prize pool. Little would stay around, especially if the prizes were given out already.

I really hate all of this f top and is top nonsense. Servers constantly advertise that they are paying out thousands of dollars for being the richest. In my opinion, that being the only incentive for players to join your server is a recipe for disaster. If your server is so bad that the only reason players join is because they could potentially win money then you need to reconsider whether you are fit to be an owner. Also, once players get raided or lose their value they will most likely quit, and if they feel like they don't have a chance, they will also quit. It's a horrible idea and I personally hate what it's done to the community.
