So I need a sky islands map. This will be for factions so I need it 10k by 10k! I don't need any custom structures I just need the islands! I want the islands to be all unique and some areas having a certain biome. I don't want every island to have its own biome but I do want it where some area of islands are all Mesa and etc. I just need terrain. Some islands can be as long as or longer than 5 chunks. I want it to look like the Minecraft world blew up into islands and now you travel in the sky.

I don't see any way to do this without a procedural world generation plugin. Making the islands is fairly easy in World Machine, but flipping them and such would require MCEdit, and you can't paint in WorldPainter upside down.

MCEdit wouldn't even work for terrain that large, so it's really not possible for me to help I'm afraid.

There's a few ways with worldpainter, but neither allows for ideal and unique floating islands. it's either unique or good-looking lower part. or more money than anyone on here can afford.

I don't think this is possible without a efficient/custom world generator, I remember there used to be a bukkit pluggin that generated floating islands, but they are not "unique" as you call it.
