SkySurge Skyblock | Selling

Hello! Thank you for checking out my post, today I will be selling my server Skysurge. Before I get started, let me provide you with some background information on SkySurge. SkySurge is a Competitive Skyblock Server, founded by Myself and Christo in early 2020. During this time, we were both super bored and wanted to further enhance our development skills. During our first release, we peaked at around 85 players, a few of which were bots, but ultimately ended up shutting things down. At the time, we were both 15-16, without a job, and just trying to enjoy the game. After this, we decided we wanted to make a little money and both started doing free-lance development, selling our original discord to another server, but keeping all other assets.

Approximately a year ago, Brock, our former manager, and great friend approached me about starting up another server, and we decided to reuse some of what we had from the past that we all worked on. Things went well, we started a new discord and gained around 250 members in a short span of time without the use of discord ads or any methods like that. Reaching some pretty high activity of around 60 reactions on giveaways and such. Unfortunately, we had a few flaws in our initial release and decided it would be best if we took a break, re-evaluated where we were sitting, and started fresh.

SkySurge is something I have always been passionate about as it was my first real server, and I am still very well passionate about it, however with Christo and I moving to college soon, and Brock already in College it’s super hard to find time to take on a large project like this.

So, why are we selling?
In the next month, Christo and I will both be starting a new chapter of our lives, moving away from our hometown to start school, while Brock moves back to school. Juggling Highschool and Skysurge was super difficult for me, and will only get harder as my workload increases during college. Ultimately, we do not have enough time to pour into this project, and make it what it has the potential to be.

Another project of this guy has failed. He was super toxic when I inquired the first time.

Not sure who you are mate but this didn’t fail whatsoever. We released a very successful beta map.

I got hired at a brand new company and took on some major roles with my IRL job, and the other 2 owners moved on to college.

I have had major roles at my job for quite some time-If you were truly passionate about something (like you were when I talked to you in April), you would've stuck with it to watch it at its finest.
