Small Minecraft Server for development?

Hi,

I have just gotten back to Minecraft and I am looking for a cheap Minecraft host for a small dev server where I can test my plugins.

I also heard that 1.14 is quite resource intensive so I wonder what kind of specs I would need to run a test server?

If you're using 1.14 I can't advise the latest versions of paper more. They have some pretty great performance improvements.

It's probably helpful for companies if you list the budget you're looking to stay between :)

I could host you one for like $3/month if ya need, can't guarantee longevity tho.

I've had the VPS for like 3-6 months now, i don't keep count and I got ptero on it, so I could throw up a server for you

I’m going to be down here, I’d recommend running 1.13.2 then installing via-version. 1.14 is bearly runnable. If you do run 1.14 performance is not going to be greatest when you get players running best of luck though.

It is runnable, I've been running 1.14.2 for the last month and haven't found and issues.

What I mean by not runnable, it’s not suitable once you get a massive amount of players on.
