Small Server for a Modpack

Looking for a small server to run a mod pack on with around 8~ people

The mods are like 300 mb~
I had a server with Pebblehost and it was complete dog shit, lagged the fuck out and crashed over and over again, Looking for something that can run our server smoothly, and we are interested in purchasing multiple months buying something with strong cores.

For reference, when ~7 people were on the server was using 4.5 gb of ram (we purchased 6 gigs) and was completely unplayable.
