So I got banned...

Today is probably the worst day of my life. I woke up around 6 AM in the morning to play a round of casual csgo before my bus arrives which is 7:30 AM. And my steam account was banned by overwatch. This hits me hard and I don't know how this happened. I recalled that I only played one competitive game last night with my friends and we weren't even trying to win. I was literally half afk and half playing with no cheats injected. I really want my account back since I have prine and some skins. If anyone know how to appeal an overwatch ban please leave your comments below. Thank you!

Don't take this as fact because I'm just going through this by memory, but if I recall correctly Overwatch is CS:GO's system to check for hackers/griefers. It's reviewed using anonymous names and by people of the community. So "Overwatch" is their reviewing system.

I was not. All five of us were queued together and one of us started spinning and telling everyone the locations of the enemies. And I wasn't even top fragging in the entire game. We couldn't kick him either since there are people who didn't want him to get kicked. Contact steam support, they're notoriously slow with responding and you need evidence that you're not cheating.

I really should have done that tbh, but that was my first time playing comp after my one week comp cool down so I didn't want to leave.

there's no point trying to hide you were cheating. they haven't false banned anyone in (i assume) years. as stated above, no one gets banned for playing legit.
