With all of the big platforms shutting down controversial topics, debates or anything that might even in the slightest way offend another, I want to create a media platform that is directly targeting this issue by allowing people to debate back and forth about various topics.
I am a game developer so I do understand to some extent what would be required as far as efforts into this kind of project.
Ideally, this should be built piece by piece, so that it can be built without being thrown together in any improper way.
Each system should be built with room to expand, and it would be expected that the developer do the appropriate research to find a scalable backend solution for this project. I do not want this platform to be powered by Amazon, Google, or any other big tech companies that control the web. This should be independent of their services, and hosted by alternative companies.
