I have decided to part ways with my survival server called PunchedMC. It first launched in May 2020, and really picked up in June 2020, averaging 50-60 players everyday. At this point it was on Java 1.12.2 getting very good performance at these player counts. It was then temporarily closed in July for personal reasons, and relaunched at the beginning of June 2021 as a 1.16.5 server. We had plans to partner with multiple significant YouTubers, however due to one of the owners leaving, only one creator came through. This creator is the popular shorts creator named ashswag (currently at 246k subscribers), and he is still in association with the server. He made a video on the server that got 1.5 million views (link is below). In total, the server has been up for 4+ months, making approximately $6,000 in revenue. It was advertised on Minecraft Server List for a month, which prompted over 15,000 unique IP joins.
