Hey there MCM Community!

I have one question. A guy with 970gbps bot net (he said he has it) just DDoSed our Network. Now the question is, how to prevent those kind of DDoS attacks, and don't say DDoS protection, because we already have it (100gbps, but thats not even close to 970gbps).

If you have any solutions please comment below, thanks.

Hi there,

CloudFlare offers protection against DDoS attacks on websites; certain hosting providers also offer server protection. If it's against players, there are VPNs and such the like they can use to protect themselves, or disconnecting their router for X amount of time.

Hope this helps,

Definately will be interested into this when we get over 200 active players. Thanks!

Go with proxypipe. Soon paying them near $300 a month for DDoS protection.

If you are referring to the 100gbps that OVH offers, man oh man that is not near enough.
Not using OVH (I used to use it, but they're a bit overpriced), but I'll most likely have to go and use this ProxyPipe. As it looks like a lot of people are suggesting it, and as I've seen, it is used by many large Networks.[DOUBLEPOST=1484077938][/DOUBLEPOST]
I didn't mention my skype anywhere, and didn't receive any requests on skype. My skype is: alkog98 Feel free adding me.

You can also buy a metalnode VPS and put BungeeCord on it. metalnode offers up to 230Gbps DDoS protection.
Getting a VPS with good DDoS protection for Bungee was one of the solutions we were considering of. Thanks for mentioning it.
