People are offering a ton of great ideas. However, most of these ideas are not plausible, or don't give the community a chance to sell their accounts. Instead, I would like to implement a system where instead of giving the name of the account, people use asterisks to hide parts of the name. Ex: Cool would be Co*l. The reason only one asterisk is needed is because they can't prove whether the account you're selling is Cool, or Co0l. If they can't prove you're selling one account or the other, they can't lock it. For ranked accounts and caped accounts, the name should be blocked out because the name isn't usually the selling point on the account.
This idea stops the problem of locking accounts, as mojang doesn't know which accounts are being sold or not, and this gives everybody with Premium the opportunity to sell their accounts.
This should not be implemented as a permanent solution, as there is still problems with this. I just felt it was the best solution out there now, and should be at least implemented temporarily.
