Some questions I have

Hey I am wondering what is a good amount of ddos protection to have servers on for doing like mc hosting, vps hosting and stuff like that .

I'd say around 20Gbps is enough most of the time. The highest about my servers have been hit with is 12Gbps. If you're hosting something that is going to be prone to DDoS attacks or likely to suffer high bandwidth attacks then more would be needed. But if you're using using it for mc then most attackers use cheap online booters. However the more protection the better. I wouldn't go with anything under 50Gbps just incase something a bit bigger was to come my way, but that could be more paranoia than anything else.

Agreed but booters are getting high knowledged coders if it stays this way people will have to upgrade fast

Well also to add this would be for like me hosting a private mc network on it and possibly giving a few friends a vps

People worry way too much about this. I have not seen an attack over 3GBpS yet against any of our servers. The odds of someone actually having the capacity to do an attack big is low.

100GBPS would be good the biggest hit i took with 50GBPS so far.

Chances are 10GBpS will be fine.

Most attacks don’t even go over 3GBpS. Aswell as if you have your firewall properly setup it won’t be an issue.

Why post this here I am not looking for a host I am asking how much is a good amount. When you say.this it seems like your just trying to gain customers
