Someone claimed he was able to ddos my server

Hello

Today I recived a message from a player claiming that another player was able to ddos'ed my server. The server is with a hosting company so I doubt the hosting company didn't put in protection against it. What can I do myself to prevent this from happening?

Honestly, it depends on your server size. If you have a little server and it's pretty quiet, I think you're fine without getting anything extra. But, if you have a pretty big server with a nice playerbase, it might be safe to get some type of protection.
