If you wanting someone to teach you how to setup a dedi with multicraft, it isnt something you can just learn. It would take quite some time. Its not as simple as just installing it, you have to setup things like a firewall too, to keep it secure. You need to hire a system admin to do it for you.
Block FTP upload of .jar files and other executables (potentially dangerous plugins)? [y]/n n
Dont comment, you clearly dont know what you are talking about. It is easy to show someone how, but if you want a secure dedi, that isnt likely to get hacked, you have to leave it to someone that knows what they are doing.he CLEARLY isn't looking for managed servicing so either offer to share your knowledge or quit trying to sell yourself.
lol ikr

Exactly
I have a right to use this forum being a good standing member of the MCM community. Unless if/when I break a rule or so I am granted a limited license to use MCM for this purpose.
You're honestly acting like he would be running a hosting company or something. A community box will do just fine with basic security precautions and etc that would be bearable for someone new in the "field" and shouldn't be too extensive to teach.
Compare this to like your house in real life. Locking the doors and windows is USUALLY enough unless you're like a famous person or something. Then you would want security systems and etc.
In a "virtual" sense a small/medium community won't need an "expert" on hand. A bank on the other hand going to want 10+ years experienced security experts at the mere ready.
Like you said, locking doors is enough, but most people dont even do that. It doesnt bother me, if people leave their servers wide open, mine are secure, and thats all that matters to me. All im trying to do is make others aware, and help to secure theirs. You should never let arrogance stand in your way. Thinking you arnt a target, because you're just a MC server, isnt going to make yourself any safer.
