Something to say if a post has been quoted

Can we have something that indicates if a post has been replied to, and with the links to the post?

I sometimes want to say stuff, but can't be bothered to because it was posted say a day or 2 ago and there's too many replies to read through the whole thing

That would work or you can have it right by the the thing that says how long since they posted, although your idea sounds much better

Imagine trying to follow a discussion on a reddit thread if replies weren’t displayed directly underneath the message the person was replying to, and all responses were instead displayed in a single long list, in chronological order. It would be very difficult.
It gets like that sometimes for our Xenforo threads, where replies to specific messages can be several pages later, and readers can’t find them unless they read through every comment.

Listing replies to messages on the post that got quoted would make following along in such cases much easier.

The majority of our threads don’t get pages of responses though, so it’s not entirely necessary.

While I can see what you're saying and your point does make sense, ultimately it does come down to this. Considering the amount of custom development we need to do, this certainly wouldn't be anywhere close to the top so it's probably not even worth queuing something with such a minor use case.
