Every-time I try to edit a video with Sony Vegas (I have Vegas 16) the preview clip is fully blurry and it freezes every 2 seconds. So I can't really edit.

Anybody know how to fix this? So the preview clip is fully HD and not lagging?

I think you have to change "good (auto)" to something less demanding

I've seen others use that and it went fine with them

It's probably lagging because it's too high quality before it is actually rendered I think, so change to to lower quality, the outcome will still be 720p or whatever you chose it to

I tried all the options and they all lag it regardless.

^ as you can see, it's literally impossible for me to edit under those conditions.
