There's a method of scamming that's been quite prevalent recently. Here's an example of it:
There's at least 2 fake Discord accounts involved in this scam, one is someone pretending to be user A (in this case senoe) who will message user B (in this example me) asking to confirm on-site:
The second account pretends to be user B and will message user A (in this case senoe):
Preventing this is easy, whenever you're confirming on-site make sure to include your Discord ID as well as the Discord ID of the user talking to you.
For those who aren't familiar with Discord IDs and don't want to bother looking up how to see them, here's how you can enable checking it:
Click the gear icon » Go to "Appearance" » Enable "Developer Mode"
