Each of our servers is unique with it's own custom content created by our team. As other superhero servers crumbled, we've risen and sustained active player bases.

Only found this post because OP decided to join my Discord server in order to advertise this post to me.
with over 25,000 unique players

You don't even have 25,000 unique downloads, across both packs combined. And not every download equals a visitor, in my (vast) experience.

Endgame Standard - 8 months old
Madalorian MC - 2 months old
Knowing that OP hasn't actually had 'over 25,000 unique visitors', I can't believe for a second that they have generated $5247 in 8 months of operation. I've run one of the most popular Technic modpacks for the last two years, have a consistent player count in the 30's and am not more than a few thousand above that in terms of total generated revenue from player sales in just over double the same amount of time.

I'd highly recommend asking OP for more information before proceeding to purchase with what appears to be two absolutely tiny modpacks. I wouldn't have spent the time writing this post if I didn't believe that the information here is false and requires further exploration.

Thanks for taking the time to fact check my post, we've recently switched to solder maybe two or three months ago, it could be longer, and the modpacks have shifted names and users a few times, so the downloads do not properly represent our total downloads.

The stat for that was based off of our Multicraft, although it's not always the most "solid" stat to go by, it's the only one that is all together in one place.

109fca7587527c1c8dcc9cf0308a293a.png

I'd display more of the webpage, but that'd be leaking player IP addresses.

In addition, the total donations has been across our network and since release, the server has been going for a few more months than that modpack has been up. (13 maybe 14 months)

We've also held technic trending top pages multiple times and have had up to 50 players on each server at a time, but that stat was not relevant to this post being it present day does not hold those numbers. In addition, that $5247 does not reflect profits, we've had to buy many servers and increase space due to player counts, and a lot, if not all of that money has gone straight back into the servers through our custom content, premium plugins, builds, and misc developer work.

I'm sorry, I was trying to find modded network owners who are active, we're looking to sell the server to someone who isn't going to throw it in the trash bin the moment they buy it. While mc-market is a good website, there isn't a lot of modded server owners out there, and I was hoping to find some server owners that run modded to see if they would be interested. Thank you for coming here and helping me point out some of the figures and explain them more in detail, hopefully that will clear it up if anyone else was confused on the same things you were.

Solder doesn't change your modpack statistics, as the statistics are stored on Technic and retrieved via the Technic api.
Changing your modpack name also does not reset the statistics.

the server has been going for a few more months than that modpack has been up
I find that hard to believe that you got people to:
  • download your collection of mods, presumably via .zip
  • install your collection of mods
  • join your server
  • pay hundreds of dollars per month
All without a proper modded minecraft presence in the form of a Technic page.

We've also held technic trending top pages multiple times and have had up to 50 players on each server at a time
That's not exactly a huge feat. You'll see packs with <5,000 downloads hit the top 3 trending pages on a daily basis. And that does not demerit anything I've said, as I too have had figures like that in the past.

In addition, that $5247 does not reflect profits
I never used the word profit, because it doesn't mean anything in this discussion.

hopefully that will clear it up if anyone else was confused on the same things you were.
I'm not confused at all. I've been part of the modded minecraft community since the earliest days of tekkit. I've run many modded networks, some successful, some unsuccessful. One of my successes was the #1 modded network for SkyFactory and AgrarianSkies, which generated over $40,000 in its glory days during the peak of modded mc.

There is absolutely no way that your 7K downloads modpack & 2K downloads modpack has generated close to the same amount of revenue as packs that:
  • have been around twice as long
  • are onwards of 2544.44% larger

Hey man, I'm not here to compare server sizes and numbers we've put up vs yours, I'm sure you've ran successful servers and did it different than us, I wouldn't be selling the server if we were perfect.

When I say we "renamed," we've had many different modpacks with similar themes. While there is two active servers currently, we've ran alot on this network. We've ran atleast 10 different superhero servers over the networks timespan, a few of them managed to stay with high numbers and high profits for months on end, but we were not able to properly manage it. We've ran Fallout Servers, Pixelmon, SkyFactory, Tekkit, Star Wars, and Walking Dead servers which all managed to have medium playerbases. There's more to this network than this page, I just didn't want to falsely misinform by boasting about stuff we've done in the past and isn't currently on the table. I'm not sure why you're targetting numbers here thinking they're false, if you don't think it's a good deal don't do it, but please don't continue to sit here boasting your ego and shitting on smaller servers. You're the reason I want to get out of this modded community, it's filled with toxic people.[DOUBLEPOST=1587936306][/DOUBLEPOST]24 hours and bidding will be ending! (Monday, 6:00PM EST)

You can keep changing the narrative all you want. You keep backtracking on previous statements and keep admitting to omitting details or including information that is not related to what you are selling, in order to make it appear more enticing.

It has nothing to do with my ego, the very fact I am here posting on this site is a testament to how much I think you are trying to oversell a non-unique product.

So I'll summarise:
  • You have not had 25,000 unique visitors to the modpacks you are selling- as you haven't even had 25,000 people download them.
  • I do not believe you have made the money you have posted as 'proof', not from the two modpacks you are selling.
  • You claimed the statistics were inaccurate because you had switched to Solder, having found out that Solder doesn't reset those values you are now claiming the modpacks have been around for 13-15 months, not the 8 months advertised- and this is despite the modpack creation date being 8 months.
  • You are now claiming that by 'renamed' you are referring to completely different modpacks, which- if they are the ones on your technic profile- have a handful of downloads each.
  • It is the weekend, I have been watching your servers since you threw up this advertisement- you have had 7-10 players in the last 5 hours. Not ~22. That's on your bigger modpack, I couldn't be bothered to check the other.
  • Any prospective buyer would need to deal with all the assets that I'm fairly sure you don't have permission to use (all of the images and logos)
  • Your branding is not 'custom' at all, you're reusing the Mandalorian Logo and Avengers logo. Your Discord background is a low-poly wallpaper from the public domain, your discord logo is a low-poly planet gif with the word 'Soul' over the top.
Stop overselling something that is essentially worthless.

I've already provided a screenshot of the total players we've had log into our servers.
  • I do not believe you have made the money you have posted as 'proof', not from the two modpacks you are selling.
That is your opinion, I am not sure why you would believe that being I have provided proof against that directly.
  • You claimed the statistics were inaccurate because you had switched to Solder, having found out that Solder doesn't reset those values you are now claiming the modpacks have been around for 13-15 months, not the 8 months advertised- and this is despite the modpack creation date being 8 months.
I did not claim the stats were inaccurate because of that, I stated that we recently started using Solder, and that we have had many modpacks under similar names and themes. It's irrelevant to this thread because they are not currently active.
  • You are now claiming that by 'renamed' you are referring to completely different modpacks, which- if they are the ones on your technic profile- have a handful of downloads each.
Due to Technic limits, you can only have a handful of packs on your page and you need to make an extra user or two to have multiple modpacks, additionally, some of the modpacks that we have created have been shut down/died since release and we've deleted them.
  • It is the weekend, I have been watching your servers since you threw up this advertisement- you have had 7-10 players in the last 5 hours. Not ~22. That's on your bigger modpack, I couldn't be bothered to check the other.
Either you're blind or unable to check and just making up numbers, but as of this post there are 14 players online, and this is the time where we lose about 4-6 players as they go to eat dinner and come back.
  • Any prospective buyer would need to deal with all the assets that I'm fairly sure you don't have permission to use (all of the images and logos)
True, some of our assets do not have permission to use, but that's just a few things to remove. I'll take care of that asap.
  • Your branding is not 'custom' at all, you're reusing the Mandalorian Logo and Avengers logo. Your Discord background is a low-poly wallpaper from the public domain, your discord logo is a low-poly planet gif with the word 'Soul' over the top.
That's actually not the mandalorian logo, and some custom work we did that is similar but not enough. I'll take care of the Avengers logo. Our discord wallpaper is custom work done by our designer, not sure what you mean by public domain. Our logo is custom done by one of our current designers Snow.

I wont bother replying to everything, because you keep missing the points made. But I won't turn down the opportunity to prove you wrong again.

Ah right, if you have the adobe license for a free stock image it automatically means you're selling custom mate artwork as an asset. I'm actually done with this thread, I think I've successfully shown everyone what they needed to see. I'm starting to feel bad for making you look more and more dense.
Good luck.
Thanks for coming to this thread to provide nothing, I greatly appreciate you bashing on the server for having a low playerbase and not being fit for you to buy it. It's only a little bit against the MCM rules but thanks.

We had a BIN offer for $425, thanks for bidding everyone, but I believe we're going to take this offer as it's what we were looking for initially, and I do not want to keep this thread open for notPulz to rant about how his servers are superior.
