I'd rather not see annoying spam/jokes in appraisal section and og section. Plenty of people are guilty of this. Make a spam joke section for these types of shit posts.

If it's blatant, report it for low quality content, and it should be removed. I don't think a spam/joke section would be beneficial to anyone.

I do report it. It takes forever to remove and I don't believe they warn for it because repeat offenders are never suspended.

Then move on. Adding a section just for this won't change a thing. You worrying it about it too much won't either.

Spam posts taking up space and attention from posts which actually belong is a problem.

What makes you think having a section for spam will mitigate spam in other sections? Staff will be forced to hand out points for low quality content in the inappropriate sections, and there will be yet another node to moderate. People still won't learn.

Over the past few days and the coming weeks we have been focusing on being more strict with our enforcement of rule-breaking of users shitposting with ridiculous appraisals/comments in OGs/etc.

If you see someone post something low-quality please report it and they'll be warned and the content will be removed.
