To put it simply, I bought some speakers (Behringer VS1220) and it didn't come with any leads etc. - I just want it to play music from my phone/computer.

Here's all the information:
The problem: The speakers didn’t come with any leads, power cords etc. - I have no idea what I need to purchase.
What I need it for: I just need it to be able to play music from my laptop/phone
General information: There is two spaces at the back where you can plug leads in - they look to be like jack cables - I tried to put my guitar lead in there and it fits perfectly so it needs to be the same size.
I assume I need a power cord of some sort that can fit in there and then I need another jack cable which can also fit from the speakers into my laptop/phone.

The manual: http://www.behringer.com/assets/vs1520_vs1220f_vs1220_m_en.pdf
These are the Behringer VS1220

So my question is, what do I need to purchase?

You need to purchase speakers that come with leads.

I'm guessing this is what you got with it?

  • Road-ready, passive 150-watt (program)/600-watt (peak), 8-ohm, 2-way PA speaker
  • Combination of a 12" driver and dual electrodynamic high-frequency drivers provides ample volume and clarity
  • Proprietary horn design delivers ultra-wide 80-degree x 40-degree sound dispersion to cover broad areas
  • Parallel 1/4" jacks provide make daisy chaining additional speakers easy
  • Rugged steel grille and laminate finish hold up to serious mobile use
  • Heavy-duty recessed handles make transport easy

Not really sure?... does it say the exact specifications on what you actually need to connect with? Plus, I don't think this speaker is meant for phones anyway.

It didn't come with any leads, that's why I need to know what to purchase.

It's not haha, nonetheless it can play music loud and well with a good bass which is what I was looking for.
