Instead of a gradient maybe do a special event where you can get a gray/black name available for a short time? In a limited stock?

We won't be doing a black name colour because then it won't be visible on dark theme. I think you're suggesting we add a name colour that is the default, unranked colour. I don't understand why we'd add something like this, especially for a special event because it'd get no sales.
