SpecialEffect FundraiserAfter the resounding success of our previous fundraiser for Water.org, throughout the month of October we will be raising money for SpecialEffect! The work that SpecialEffect does is truly amazing by giving disabled people the opportunity to play video games that we all love, such as Minecraft. Below is some more information about their charity:

Can I pay the $25 but change my colour back?
Yep! If yellow isn't your ideal colour then you may swap back to any of the other colours you have purchased in your account preferences!
Can I donate more than $100?
You sure can. If you wish to be super generous and donate even more than $100 USD please send me a PM and we'll make sure that all the money you send to us goes directly to the cause.
Can I gift this to a friend for a medal?
Unfortunately, we do not allow you to gift the name colour or medal to anyone, you can only receive it if you donate for yourself.
What happens to this colour after October is over?
At the start of November, this fundraiser will be over, so this colour will be removed from being purchasable on the site forever. You will still keep this colour and will be able to pick it forever once you have it.
What does the colour look like?
I intend on using the new yellow gradient colour that you receive for $25 for the entire month.
Can I donate the proceeds of my product/service to the cause?

Through eye-movement alone, we help people operate a computer so they can communicate and regain a little independence - giving them a voice when they don’t have one of their own.
We feel very honoured to work with such extraordinary, inspiring people who in the most testing of circumstances, somehow display such fortitude, courage and resilience. Every day we’re moved by their exceptional character, which inspires us to keep doing everything we possibly can to enable them to get the most out of life in their own particular situation.

The reputation system is a highly contested topic right now, so we would love your input in order to decide what changes we could make to reputation to make it better for everyone! If you're able to spare a minute of your time, please fill out the questionnaire below honestly.

Advertisements Manager Updates
Prices for many products in MC-Market's Advertisement Manager have also been increased. The main changes to pricing are the following:
Other Changes- Sidebar advertisements price changed from $25/week to $30/week
- Stickies in Servers, Plugins, Domains, Other, Configuration, Investments & Loans and System Administration price reduced to $7.50/week from $10/week
- Stickies in Recruitment & Staff, Middleman, Steam Items, Gift Codes & Licenses, Miscellaneous Services, Currency Conversion and Other forums decreased to $5/week from $10/week
- Stickies in Builds and Design / Graphics forums increased to $12.50/week from $10/week
- Stickies in Hosting forum increased to $30/week from $20/week
- Stickies in OG Accounts, Semi-OG Accounts, Cape Accounts and Rank Accounts forums now offer stickies for $5/week
- Resources in Setups category are now able to be featured
Along with these wonderful updates above, we have also introduced a number of minor changes since our previous announcement. In order to see updates as they happen, please follow our Twitter, where we tweet when new minor changes are made! The changes are:
- Chat advertisement period changed from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes
- Requirements for username changes adjusted
- Added YouTube subforum in Social Media Accounts
- Renamed "Hot Pink Colour" to "NBCF Colour"
- Renamed "Light Blue Colour" to "Water.org Colour"
- Added "Realms Mapmaker", "Translator", "Mojira Moderator", "Scrolls" and "Cobalt" as options when listing an account in the Cape Account forum
- Amended Suggestions Guidelines to say that any future suggestions about reputation will be automatically denied.
- Fixed issue where reputation stats wouldn't show up in certain forums
- Added a requirement for users to have 5 or more positive reputation in order to post in the Investments & Loans forum -- Has now been removed due to bug with the addon
- Removed Streamable integration, which automatically played music on threads
- Changed the word 'constructive' to 'relevant' in rule 9.1
- New searching system by Threadloom soon to be introduced after search index is completed -- Has now been removed due to popular demand
