Spend Money On Advertising MCM

I'm pretty sure Ajdin hasn't spent a penny on advertising MCM. Although, we have a good community filled with unique characters I wouldn't mind an influx of new MCM members. I know I have 0 control over what BeBosny does with his money, but I am proposing BeBosny spends less money on certain things (such as development) and more money on advertising.

I like seeing new faces as it gets old always seeing the same people.

Yeh, I think it could be a bigger community. Since alot of people don't know this site and they have potential to settup shop over here instead. (ex) minecraftserverforums and spigotmc.

Then the website would possibly need more staff, i do agree with the advertising, but there will most likely HAVE to be more staff. If the website gets overflown with members, then staff members can't be on 24/7. More members = More scams. More scams = more staff needed. Once again, Lets see Ajdin Has to say.

No real need to spend money on advertising in my opinion, the community is really quite strong.
Plus, word of mouth is a good enough way to find the marketplace - let alone google keywords.

We're at the point where it's just not necessary. We advertise just by existing, and having this many members.
When people search for purchasing stuff related to minecraft, MC-Market is pretty much always at the top of the google search results.

I get bored of having the same old broken, un-customized, overused systems.
Paying for development, in my opinion, should definitely be up near the top of the list right now.

I agree, many users on this site ads unwelcoming to new users. They tend to harass them or not let them have their sales thread because they "have no rep".

Time is money, Ajdin has stated multiple times that he spends many hours on SEO. Like Justis said, we're at the top of many search results relating to trading minecraft goods and services. Even after disallowing the sale of minecraft accounts, are search results are so good that they still come out pretty high:

Development needs to happen in order to keep the forums fresh and renewed. I, personally, love new updates and find that they're one of the most exciting things on the site. If Ajdin stops updating the forum, that won't make me stop coming either. Personally, I come for the user created content not the new features that him and his developer make.

Advertising a forum is something people would do if they are struggling to get new people to the site.

We get roughly 500 registrations every week. I'd rather spend or invest the money elsewhere.

Advertising isn't necessary when you have good SEO. MC-Market is aimed towards a particular niche of people, and it's SEO ensures that it is almost always delivered to that group.

Direct search terms generally return MC-Market as the top result.

More indirect search terms return the site within the top 3 results.
