Was thinking of buying SpigotCourse just to see what its like. Has anyone previously used it and if so do you have any opinions on it? Is it worth it?

Tbh unless a programming course is made with some very professional corporate backing, it most likely would be more worth your time to self-learn.

If you want to learn Java go to stackoverflow, the docs, or books like headfirst java.
