Im white latino and i want dreads n shit. I have black straight hair but when i bleached it i have curls so i want tips about sponge, which one should i use and shit, thanKKKKs

Hey friend, 2nd year apprentice barber here. So you want dreadlocks eh? Well there are a lot of things you need to know before you start your dreadlocks

1. Dedication. Dreadlocks are extremely time restraining and can take up to 2 years for your dreads to lock up and become nice. Also expect to walk around and get funny looks from people as when you start your dreadlock journey they will look like frizzy snakes in your hair.

2. Twist and lock method. This method is in my opinion the best way to go for your dreadlocks. I highly recommend getting a friend to help you with you this as it is quite difficult to section out the hair by yourself. Look up “Twist and lock dreadlock method” on YouTube.

3. Feel free to add me on discord and ask questions because it would legit take me forever to list everything :rofl: Hope this helps out a little bit.
