Squad Plugin

✸ Hello there fellow players! Recently, I have been making a server with my friend and currently we are in revamp mode adding cool stuff and there's one particular plugin we want to add. I want to let you know that we don't have interest in buying it right now since we are using the money on streamers and other advertisements. If the plugin is cheap however we may buy it.

✸ This plugin would be a custom plugin used for our server only. This plugin would be called PrisonLandSquads and would act as a team or faction. Since our server is prison and more to come we aren't looking for a claim, ally, or enemy command. The commands would be as follows.

↠ /squad [Brings up a list of the commands in the chat]
↠ /squad create (name) [Creates a squad]
↠ /squad invite (name) [Invites a player to the squad]
↠ /squad join (name) [Joins a squad]
↠ /squad kick (name)
↠ /squad leave [Leaves the squad]
↠ /squad revoke (name,all) [Cancels a squad invitation]
↠ /squad leader (name) [Changes the leader]
↠ /squad disband [Disbands the squad]
↠ /squad forcejoin [Forces an OP to join a squad]
↠ /squad forceleader (name) [Gives a leader)

✸ My guess for this plugin is $50, which I don't have. I am just looking for a price I the future. Maybe the server blows up and I make a crap ton of money to buy this.

Been there, done that; charge the right price for work and maybe this community would pay for stuff rather than expecting everything for free.

I mean tbh its like 1/2 days work, about 10 hours if you work solidly each hour. So $15/hour (which is what i charge) it works out okay

I don't know about your COL (Cost of Living) but down here in LA (Louisiana), $15.00 / hour is really good here in the country lol. With that being said. $300.00 dollars is kind of overpriced, People charge that much a simple minigame but you're charging that much for just a few commands to manage a party/team that you could finish within 2-3 days and that's not even with working all day and all night lol. I could see if he wanted you to add a spawn protection. Have the plugin implement a certain API, Add money to a player's account if they're killed by an opposing team's member but he's not asking for that lol. Keep in mind you're not working with a big company that can just pay you $20.00/hour. You're working with MCM users who aren't trying to spend a lot of money for a plugin
1. They don't know how much effort it'll take.
and
2. They don't have a lot of money to start off with because they're young, no job and probably only get money from an allowance.
So I'll say $150.00 USD is a pretty good price. So if you say 300, And I agree with the other guy by saying 150. He'll go with the users with the lowest price.

That price is utterly ridiculous. I made a gangs plugin with more features than this for $30, and I was offering to switch a few things to squad and add a command or two for $10. Not 300..

What you guys dont release Eric is a very good developer and his time is worth $$ if you dont like it dont deal with him but dealing with him you will be expecting the highest quality code on this market
