6. 2 days later & Marchet tells Mare his response is required
7. Another 2 days go by & Marchet says Mare has 48 hours
8. No response from Mare
9. 2 more days go by & Mare is banned

So my guess in all honesty is Mare is waiting this out until it's been long enough until OP isn't able to provide further evidence and Mare will likely be unbanned due to further evidence not being provided.

There's a very unlikely chance Mare will be unbanned. The user had been online and viewed the scam report. Which proves they were very much aware of it and they simply just refused to do anything.
