Would there be a difference in gameplay (Minecraft) if i upgrade my i7 6700k from SSD to NVMe ?

If you’re hosting only a few servers you won’t notice much difference, but if you are hosting a lot of servers, 5-10+, you will notice a big difference because the servers will not have to compete for disk speed

There probably won’t be any significant difference with NVMe.
If you already have an SSD I don’t think it would be worth it to upgrade just for Minecraft use.

If you already have an SSD, there is absolutely no need to upgrade to an NVME SSD. You will not notice any performance increases within games nor any other program that you likely use.

If you were constantly rendering video or using CAD, it would be different.
