tbh if that is the case, make sure to install ufw if you have a distro like debian etc..
the default firewall is not handy, i use ufw for that..
Steps:
(sudo) apt-get install ufw
(sudo) ufw enable then type Y enter
make sure to add ufw allow 22 or sudo ufw allow SSH so it doesn't block you from entering.. and for the rust ports no idea there are guides online that descibe the required open ports
