Staff Applications

A lot of people, have been complaining about the current staff situation. I say we bring in a staff application system, with the following terms of similar.

- You must be premium to apply
- You must have x amount of posts
- You must be on the forum for at least 3 months
- You must have no/few recent punishments

Then all new recruits become a "Trial-Moderator" ranking, in which they are evaluated. If they do well, they are promoted to full mod.

Let me know if you think this is a good idea.

Non Premiums cant do a lot of stuff moderators need to do. Such as shoutbox. I should be president of mcm +1

No. It shouldnt restrict you to warning points. I havent gotten a warning in a pretty long time

No. 250 or 500. Not 1k, because then people will shit post to get 1k

It shouldn't be based on warning points, it should be time since your last warnings, especially with the recent situation, a lot of people are getting bs warnings.

You can't have received a warning in 2 weeks from when applying.

If this becomes reality, it shouldn't matter about how many posts or ratings you have. That could literally put anyone in a staff position. You should have to be active in the community, have at least the supreme rank, and have had little to no warnings.

Why restrict staff due to warnings? Things could change. Also some staff arent supreme so what would happane to them

Yeah, but most people on here will only have a 1% chance of getting staff if they apply. And Supreme will show they like the community

But current staff dont have supreme(some). What would happen to those currect staff

Nothing. Because the admin's hand picked them, because of how good they are. Unlike us, we will most likely be picked from other things.

Having a rank means nothing. Why do people keep on trying to act like that shows you care about the site.. it doesn't at all.

It means they have invested both time and money into the site. I don't think I could name someone without a rank that could be staff.

There was. They removed it when the rearranged the forums. There was nothing in it tho
