A staff member is a representation of mcm. If a staff member exit scammed for lots of money using his high position then mcm would be under a lot of fire. This is overall just not a very good idea.

First let's analyze why the staff member fucked up the deal in the first place. Middlemaning is relatively straight forward as I would imagine it involves getting money/product/service from both sides, and just distributing it to them. Requires time, communication and organizational skills, all of which should be found in a staff member..

if a staff member happens to fuck up a deal that is clearly their fault, well yes RIP their position. but MC-Market can't be blamed since it says use MM's at your own discretion.

The reason for not allowing staff to middleman is because if something goes wrong with the deal, no matter if it's the staff member's fault or not, people will flip out and start drama over it.

People will start drama over anything. its a matter of controlling it and spreading the truth. If the facts were laid out, there'd be less drama. you can't stop it, but you can lessen it.

regarding skype impostors, staff just needs to bear more responsibility on making sure people PM them here before adding on skype. I think the main point about this thread is just to give people a sense of reassurance that even the staff of MCM are willing to be legitimate middleman people, and not just people who patrol MCM and do stuff etc.

Even if this were to happen, I would deny requests, I do not feel like being chargedback over something, happened once and I will never middleman again. Also regarding the whole users Pm us, that should not be our responsibility, that should be the users.
