Today I'm going to be recruiting for my Skyblock server that's heavily based around the good ol' experience we all had back in 2012-2013, the true OG Skyblock experience. Since no other servers have this, I took it upon myself to so it.
About Nectar:
As I said, Nectar will be very heavily based around the more vanilla (but with the basic plugins). This means that there will be a small shop warp, shop plots, sell signs, buy signs, a few ranks, and overall a great community, one of the things I'm truly striving to achieve with Nectar.
I think the Minecraft Community needs a server like Nectar to bring back what Minecraft was truly about; building great structures with your friends, on small survival or skyblock servers. I aim to take away all these new technical features, and create a tight-knit server where the Community comes first.
But people love plugins though...
Yes, I understand that! People love custom features and huge content updates, but if you view some of the YouTubers who used to make MC videos, and you read the comments section, people say they'd play MC again if they could find a great, vanilla orientated server with survival and skyblock.
Even though Nectar will be highly appreciative of the true, vanilla Minecraft experience, we will use some plugins that make our server possible. These plugins will include:
Requirements for our Staff team:
For our Staff team, we need a high standard as there are very few Staff ranks, meaning that each rank has a large amount of permissions. The Staff ranks will be the following: Moderator, Manager, Server Administrator, Owner.
The following list are the requirements for our team:
Our application process will be unlike most servers. It will entail in having a chat via text on discord with either myself or Avisogen (The Server Administrator). We'll ask questions about yourself, to gain an understanding on you, as well as ask you other questions related to scenarios, and your general skill set. You'll then receive a message by one of us with your application status, either denied, accepted or pending within 3 hours.

- ASkyBlock - TastyBento, a classic.
- Essentials - Needed on every non-vanilla server, another classic plugin. With this I'll include the "Vault" plugin- needed for balance commands.
- Tablist - Just to improve the aesthetics of the tablist, variations have been made all throughout MC's history.

- An extensive knowledge on vanilla related Minecraft up to 1.12.2, and 1.13 when the plugins we use update to the latest version.
- To be 14+. Very few exceptions will be made, if any.
- To have knowledge on the ASkyBlock admin commands (only applicable to Manager+.)
- To be confident in writing and speaking, aswell as organising events.
- Good communication skills.
- Played Minecraft for 2+ years, the longer the better.
