Staff for OP-Prison / ExceptionalMC

Hey everyone! We are currently looking for staff for our OP-Prison server. The server has been up since August and over the course of a couple weeks we managed to maintain an awesome community with an average of 25 players. Unfortunately the day we had slots happened to also be the day when the server host went under maintenance. As a result, I lost motivation to continue and took a long break leading to the downfall of the server.

Over the course of a couple of weeks, I've recruiting some new lovely people who are helping me revamp the server. We're almost ready for release however we are missing arguably the most important aspect of the server, the staff.

Staff members improve the server's community by interacting with players, helping them, and improving the server quality. If you feel you can do all of the above, please sign up below.

I want to be a Moderator because I believe I can help the server in a way, here are some of the main reasons why I should become a staff member at ExceptionalMC. I am mature, I use good grammar at all times, and I like helping others players, oh and did I forget? I am also very polite towards others no matter if they're my friend or not, I will still respect them the same. Furthermore, I think the server is amazing and it would be great to moderate it along with the other staff members currently there. Also, I like working with other staff members, I have good knowledge of plugins, ChatProtectionPlus, Essentials, and I could keep going on for a long time. So these are my soul reasons why I should be a Moderator (staff member) at ExceptionalMC.​

How do you think you can assist the server if you become this rank?​

I can assist the server with Moderator if I do the following things. Advertise the server. Advertising the server is a really good way of getting players. (However, not advertising on other servers as that is extremely dangerous). I have Skype, so I could message my friends if they wanted to join a server, I would tell them that it's a Network, which a few servers on it, a lot of work has been put in to it! By moderating, I mean I would ban/mute/kick/tempban people depending on what rule they broke, if someone came to me and said "EnchantinqSoul, can you mute this player, he's been spamming" I would reply "Have you got any proof?" if they do not, I won't be able to do anything as I don't have any proof that it's happened and it could’ve been in the case that the player is just trying to get someone unfairly punished.​

Explain some cases in which you would perm-ban/temp-ban people​

If someone was advertising a server in chat (For instance, "JOIN THIS EPIC FACTION SERVER NOW! fakeip.server.false" I would ban them for the reason "Advertising Server IPs" and I would also clear the chat so no one joins the IP However, if the server does not have a Clear Chat plugin installed, I unfortunately would not be able to clear the chat, but would still issue the valid punishment to the user. Another situation for spamming, if someone says "STOP IT NOW" over 3 times, I would count it as spam and I would first warn them nicely, "Player1, please stop spamming the chat.". If they carry on excessively spamming, I would kick the player. Another thing is if someone uses excessive racism (not giving any examples for this one) I would mute them for what they have said and tell them what rule they have broken (excessively using racism). Causing server drama, in this situation I would temporarily ban them or permanently banning them, depending on what they say. Impersonating staff members, impersonating staff at ExceptionalMC is not allowed and I would punish them if they do. The punishment I would give them is a mute or any other punishment if I think that it's gone a bit over the top of impersonating another staff member. Making out of game threats, we all hate it, but if it happens, I would punish them for their wrong actions. The punishment I would apply to them would be a kick or mute, or anything else if I see is sensible.​

My first name is Yaman, I am 10 years old, yes, you read it right, 10 years old but I am very mature and I use good grammar at all times. My favourite game is Minecraft and I love moderating servers, it might be tiring, but there's fun to it too! My main hobby is writing. The country I am currently in is England, UK. I am a boy. I am very experienced with plugins on servers and for some of them I know how to configurate them too! I also like working with others, it gets the job done faster, and you also have a lot of fun while doing it too! Another thing is that I am independent and do not need to always be checked on. I like working independently however sometimes when I do not understand something I would ask for some input so I am aware of what I need to know or what I have been told to do and how to do it. • Strengths/Specialties: Strengths(I am very good at communicating with others for i have been a customer service rep for one of friends hosting companies. i know how to deal with younger/Older individuals the way need be fit and professional. I am a HIGHLY experienced minecrafter with over 4 years of experience in the game.) (Specialties: I am a descent types, i have very good communication skills, I am a very universal person when it comes to talking to people. basically everything as stated in my strengths. I also am a youtuber and a student in Minecraft Art.)

• Why we should choose you?: you should chose me becuase i am expirenced in majortiy of the fields necessary to execute the duty of being a trustworthy , and reliable staff member. for example (communication , availability, Maturity, communication with the diverse majority, etc
• What can you do that other can't: I can show you just how well of a staff member i can be if given the chance.
