Ok so like guess what? Guess what? I got banned from shout box for saying I was gonna exit scam $1 when I clearly am not. Also the fact that I said I was selling my ssn as a joke to buy chicken nuggets got me warning points. This leads me to the conclusion we should start a revolt against the staff!

Hey look, my methodology still stands true: don't say anything stupid and you won't get any warning points. Some people are just so conscious over the idea that they are about to do something wrong that they need to share it. The same idea can apply after completing an activity and needing to 'flex' it, especially when it's something unethical which leads said person being caught in the end for their crime. Not saying this applies to you, a joke is a joke.

Just sharing my thoughts; I think staff took the correct course of action. Exit scamming isn't something to joke about.

You should've read the rules. It doesn't matter whether it's a joke or not, the rules specifically prohibit it.

 1.1.1 Do not joke about or falsely confess to having violated our rules or TOS.

I'm not quite sure why people break the rules then expect not to be punished for it?
