First of all, Mick is not a money whore as you put it, honestly he is not. Second, he did not make Coco mod, that was my choice and Errota's, and she does a very good job and deserved it, Mick did not have a say in that at all. It rarely takes more than a week for us to do a report, I do not think it ever has. No user was ever able to buy out an unban, that literally never happened.

Also, to the op, you got the report for being disrespectful, the user your talking to may have done something wrong, but two wrongs don't make a right, ok? You did not need to obsessively curse, cursing is not ever even needed. If you would have made a nice, organized, and explaining post, NOT plain harassment, you would not have been warned. Yes the user is being respectful and deserves a warning for spam, and harassment, but not a ban. People say he scams, ok, make a scam report. Do not make a giant deal over it and flame.

Honestly, all of these threads based upon exposing are over rated and nearly 98% of the time are incorrect. You may think some of the things that happen are dumb, stupid, ignorant, etc. But all of these threads are just as bad. Yes we are staff, but we are users too and we do and can make mistakes. We are not perfect and neither are any of you. Also, no, I will not be locking this. I do not mute people opinions, your allowed to have opinions.
One little thing, you don't mute people's opinions. Thank you for not locking this thread. However, there was a fairly recent thread that you locked that would have users list their bad experiences/opinions from using the site. Doesn't that sorta contradict that statement entirely?

I was told that if there was anything related to staff complaints to PM mick, I was doing what i was told to do.

Been there done that, he doesn't listen even with the multiple occasions it has happend (with Gruss) and when I made a thread I had over 8 agrees vs 1 disagree the 2 hours it was unlocked.

Gruss is abusive & the hitler of sb, shit needs to stop.

Thats not a bad idea, posting a list here of staff names and reason then hopefully MICK will pick it up and see its not all whispers to be ignored

2 weeks been waiting for report to be sorted. been through 4 staff now i think.....
We don't have any reports that are 2 weeks old. At most, the report backlog is only several days (currently only 11 hours).

Reports and support requests are very different.
Yes, the support request backlog is much longer because each one takes much more time than a simple report. Even longer when people don't respond.

Now back to the main point of the thread.. "Staff is (are?) messed up".
We have seen a lot of people grumbling about staff (admins, mods, chat mods), but no one offering any real solution.
Do you think we should stop issuing warnings? It seems to me that everything thinks that "warnings" are the equivalent of "punishment" which is not the case.
A warning is simply that - a warning. It is to let you know that you did something not allowed and should not happen again. People seem to think they can "dispute" such warnings. Sure, if a staff member made a mistake or there was some misunderstanding, you should conduct yourself somewhat professional and explain, rather than arguing and name calling.
Once you reach a threshold of enough warning points, then you get your "punishment" - a suspension.

So what other options can people suggest? Do you want to elect a "community president" that would work with staff on new updates? What stops it from becoming a popularity contest? What if some people don't like who is elected, or even worse what if that elected person if corrupt? I'm sure you can see where this is going.
