The Slime Worlds Network is look for staff… and we want YOU!
Slime Worlds is a small and new Minecraft server, we currently have Factions, SkyBlock, and Creative Plots as game-modes.
We need staff to expand our network. Please note, all roles are volunteer at this point.
What are we looking for?
The Moderation Team
This is a group of Staff members that moderate the chat and in-game players. As part this group you will be a Trainee for three weeks, then a Junior Moderator of 30 days. After your training is complete you will be a Moderator. Most people stop here, but some super duper awesome people become a Senior Moderator and then maybe a Manager or Administrator! This only requires activity, both in-game and on Discord. You must be 13 years of age or older to apply.
Managers
For this category, we are looking for people with the best of integrity, organization, multitasking, and leadership skills. We want dependable people that can manage our team. Managers help to assign tasks to Staff Members (aka the moderation team) and organize the community. You should be able to conduct formal interviews, train people, and manage staff applications in an un-bias way. Lots of activity is needed. You must be at least 16 years of age or older to apply.
Administrators
The Admin rank is the highest rank on our server aside from the owner. We only need two or three of these, so spots are limited. This rank is a mix between the Manager rank and the following Developer rank. Admins should be able to manage a staff team, but their main job is on the server side. Administrators configure plugins and manage Network settings. They should be familiar with Multi-craft and an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP. Admins will be heavily needed as we make the jump to bungee over April and May (we will be launching many new game-modes). Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Developers
This role should understand everything that an Administrator would, plus more. Developers are considered part of the staff team, yet do not manage staff members. To be a developer, you should know a coding language such as Java or C#. You could also be fluent with CSS/HTML in XenForo or have a knack for Discord bots. You must be at least 16 years old to join this elite group of developers.
Builders & Artists
Slime Worlds is always adding new maps to the server. We have a very active build team. We will be releasing weekly Parkour maps, so if you have a skill for that head on over and apply. Build jobs vary, so it’s hard to put an exact description here. The Artist rank is vert similar but not in-game. Artists create things such as the monthly newsletter and use photoshop for art. We also need in-game videographers as well. There is no age requirement for this rank.
