Currently no staff are legimately handling the support request backlog, which is getting mighty big. Can there be dedicated staff for support requests, since there's resource mods and scam resolvers

Oh my god yes please.

I'm getting sick of the bullshit nonsense wait time that I've had to endure. I literally have to fight to get stuff happening and when I make the support request, nothing happens.

I think they have quite a weird strategy of handling support requests. I've had to make a lot of them over the months for various reasons and some of them have took 5 minutes to answer while others have took weeks. They're all the same support request with different parameters so there's not really any reason some should be "easier" than others. It's very weird that some of my newer reports are answered even when I have older ones still open (I mentioned it to the guy that answered the recent ones and he was kind enough to go through my older ones too).

There's some really good staff members but I don't have a clue how they're choosing what reports to answer.

Most support requests require at least moderator level permissions.
Otherwise they wouldn't be able to handle the support request.
What you're really asking for is more mods, and I agree, we're understaffed in the moderation team.

Ive posted two reports on a possible scammer and they have NOT been dealt with at all, one of them turned out to be resolved and the other guy was banned, but what if those were real scamming situations? The situation wouldve been a lot worse if then

As per what Choo and Justis said, I would agree MC-M is seemingly understaffed. MC-M is a growing market and they certainly do need more staff to help with things, but finding the right people is much harder than a lot of you think.

The solution to this isn't a specific role dedicated to it, but team growth and higher expectations within the staff team for the numbers which we have been focusing on.
