So I've been in the web design industry for 5 years, 3 of which I have spent my time offering my services on MCM. After all this time, I want to start passing on my knowledge that I have built about developing sites, and I want to help people to get on the path of creating their own websites with ease.

I am 75% done with creating a online course that makes learning how to work with Bootstrap, HTML and CSS as easy as possible.

Here is a preview to some of the course content:

Looks great at what you offer but to mention, bootstrap isn't going to put a good web developer.
Many use Bootstrap but again to my personal view I don't find it much creative, working with pure css is what tells how a good web developer is.

Count this as a suggestion for your course. :)
And Good Luck.

Yeah, I completely agree that Bootstrap isn't the only way, but it's simple enough to understand and build a foundation on, which is why I made my first course using it. The meaning of this course is to really build an upcoming web developers foundation so that learning other methods, and finding their own style is easier for them to do in the future.

Appreciate your suggestion :)

I personally think that you should learn HTML and CSS way before Bootstrap, but that's just me. Good luck though :)

I definitely agree with this, I forgot to mention in the main thread that people that take this course should have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. That being said, this course is here to help the people that are stuck on how to get going, and want to learn about the fundamentals of bootstrap and keep learning from there.

Alright, fair enough. Hope it succeeds!

God if I had a dollar for every time someone thought they are web developers after learning bootstrap and not understanding what a parent and child elements are.

Well either way good luck with the project but I hope you will put an emphasise on the importance of html + css over bootstrap.

Just so I am clear, I am not here to emphasize that this is meant to make you a professional web developer that knows everything they need to know. This is for the people that are interested in starting the process of learning things, but do not necessarily want to dive straight into the deep end of things.

This guide is made to teach people how to get off the ground and start messing around, yes it's using Bootstrap - but a lot of devs I know personally have used the knowledge they got from Bootstrap and were able to more easily understand other concepts, such as but isn't limited to, Flexbox, Semantic HTML, etc.

By no means is this guide going to make you a full-stack web developer or a professional web designer, rather it is here to help complete beginners get off the ground and be able to build simple sites for themselves, or even start their own service.

Please PM me if you have any questions or you need me to clarify anything.[DOUBLEPOST=1555976484][/DOUBLEPOST]
To me understanding, the main basics of HTML and CSS are more important than going straight into the bootstrap thing.

- Missed this point btw.
HTML and CSS basic knowledge is the basis for this course.
