Start paying Myiume / Hire another resource moderator

I constantly see people complaining about how long resources are taking to be accepted, then today I find out that Myiume isn't even paid.

He has to go through absolutely everything, this includes the plugins and their source code.

For those that don't know, going through a huge plugin that might have something malicious in it is a lot of work, also reading decompiled code isn't the most fun thing to do in the world...

I think it would be in the best interests of everyone that Myiume starts getting paid, that way he can dedicate more time to doing this job.

It's quite a huge job, think about how many people submit resources, especially things like plugins, websites and server setups. One person has to go through everything and then gets complained at for not doing it quick enough, when he's volunteering in the first place.

So my thoughts are to either.

1. Start paying Myiume, he works hard.
2. Hire another volunteer, resource acceptance is slow, if you're not going to pay someone to do it then get twice the man power, I'm sure there are plenty of members that are reputable enough and would do the job.

Support on either or, It would be nice to have faster approval times. Going through code is tedious and time consuming!

Why would he get paid, he applied for this job and he does that as a 'support' to MCM, it's his choice to be a Resource Moderator no one 'forcing' him to do that.
He wont probrably get paid.

If MCM were paying to somebody to accept the resources it wasn't Myiume it was someone else since they need someone active for that job, someone who will make his job worthly.

I think that having a new resource moderator to work alongside Myiume would be a great addition to the forum as it does take rather long for resources to be approved. I appreciate Myiume's hard work, but we probably need more people to work on approving resources.

Most developers can go through code, site code isn't that hard either, there are plenty of people on this forum that could do it!

There are developers such as TheNewTao that are obviously trustworthy, I get the point you are making though, there must be a few people that are trustworthy enough to take up the job, I think that's an issue that will come with hiring anyone, mcm has got around it, why not again?
