Why not just look for an investor? Or in my opinion, I think you should just look to work for an already existing hosting company.

I like the investor idea, I don't think someone would want to invest into a hosting company on the risks of it closing. I have been looking at tons of hosts sending my resume, getting no responses.

Multicraft: $12 (25 Servers to start)
cPanel: $20
Dedicated Server: $44.99 - 32gb of ram for start

A lot, If you want to start a basic one then move up I would suggest buying a dedicated server from OVH, or anyone of choosing and starting there. Than once you gain enough revenue/clients move into buying your own machines at data centers.
