Starting a YouTube Channel [Need guidance]

Hey There !
I was thinking of starting a YouTube channel, I used to own a YouTube channel back in the 2015 which was pretty good with over 2k subscribers but I've deleted that channel as I got no more interest. I'm gonna start a YouTube channel again and I need guidance from special people who've been into this more longer than me..

I recommend learning from YouTube itself. A lot of big YouTubers have commented on tutorials for different things, from Adobe products to Magix Vegas. You can find a lot of things there yourself, such as different transitions, effects, basic tool equipment within the program (such as cutting clips) and so forth. Use YouTube as an educational tool as well as a media tool.

First impressions are important. I don't know if it is just me but when I see a decent channel that is nowhere near fame, I have a tendency to get annoyed when I just see that default YouTube picture and channel art. Even if it is simple, just like mine, it gets the job done and you have a way of personalising yourself. This can especially help by making a logo identifiable. Take Starbucks for example, in some cases, it doesn't have the name. But because it has that weird woman logo, anyone can identify it.

You do not have to have a huge setup to become, I guess big. If you have it all there then that's good. But it's not needed. People still record and out-scale to 720p quality, so if your computer can perform at least HD then I think you're good to go. If you're going to commentate, I just recommend not to make your microphone sound too bad. In the case of having buffering or weird noises when talking.

In terms of game types, hopefully, you don't just play Minecraft. I would expand in different games that you may own. The more videos you own and make, and the more games you make of, the bigger your audience is. They'll come from different communities of different games, so I really don't recommend your channel just being Minecraft. But then again - it's not my channel.

I hope you find my points reasonable and valid. Hopefully, you'll have a good time on YouTube again.

If you need help starting a YouTube channel after you had a 2k channel I think you have memory loss because it seems to me someone who has 2k was either botting or knows how YouTube works by now..

Just experiment with Vegas until you get something unique...

Works well if you have some experience. Also helps you make a good never seen before editing style.

I am too good with Camtasia Studio but I saw a lot of people using Vegas and its a lot better than Camtasia.[DOUBLEPOST=1506772513][/DOUBLEPOST]

Learn to photoshop clickbait (suggestable images) with emojis, use caps lock for each one of your videos followed by a series of exclamation points and question marks, extend the video past the 10 minute mark or title your video something completely dramatic and tragic to your life, make it 3/4 filler content and 1/4 of actual content, scream like a retarded kid on acid and make sure to smash that mf like button.

Or, you could make content and stay true to yourself.
