This was my old thread but the stuff was going the other way, https://www.mc-market.org/threads/552744/

My Internet ranges to 24Mbps or 30Mbps.

On steam, however, it's not like that.
My speed test results are always 100% accurate and the same. (fast and speedtest both)

On steam, my download speed only comes around 8Mbps or 7Mbps.
In the first month of my buying the new package on steam, the avg speed was at least 20Mbps.

It's been almost another month since this issue, my operator wasn't able to solve anything related to it, the majority I have is 8Mbps download on steam. (1 MB/s)
However, at some point, my speed would be the same again now that is 23Mbps on steam but it always is not like it was in the first month.

I will attach some pictures below it is about today that suddenly my speed went up again to 24Mbps but when I started to download another game it dropped to 8Mpbs.

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Check to see what server you are downloading from on Steam. (Steam > Settings > Downloads > Download Region). Perhaps that could help to set it to your region
The region is the very closest to me, it is my own country.
The same region gave me 24Mbps today and a few months back every day.
The changing region has no effect.

I think I said it in the last thread but increasing the priority of steam helped my download speeds significantly. Searching how to increase download speed on steam showed me how to set it through task manager, then details, and setting it to real-time or highest.

It might just be steam to an extent as I have gigabit internet but I peaked at 115ish mb/s in the morning. In the morning your speed will always been faster than the evening.

This also has no effect, anything that was in the last thread basically had no effect on the speed.

What you get on speedtest is never what you get anywhere else, that's just how it is.
