Exit scammers are impossible to predict. We all know that. We've had high-reputation members exit scam and almost none of us could tell (and please don't say "oh but I knew they would!" - you couldn't have predicted them all, so shush and listen).
So why is it that when certain staff members exit scam, the whole staff team gets shit on?
But it's really not okay to hang shit on the team. There are 45 staff and ex-staff (including Mick, Bosny, Verr) who do, and have, put their sanity on the line to deal with the community as much as they have. With all the toxicity, saltiness and harassment, it's not easy. Staff choices are pretty much always good. You can tell people have been researched; because most staff wind up doing a lot of good for MCM.
Now just because the people they choose generally aren't well-known (Capaldi being a prominent example to the contrary) and popular doesn't mean they're not good staff/people. For example, 'unknown' staff haven't scammed, despite the aforementioned staff who were actually well known, who did actually scam. Even Harrison was well-known prior to being picked for staff. It shouldn't be a trend of mistrust in the unknown members.
Am I kissing ass right now? Probably. What I'm not saying is you can't be angry. But when people say "So let's choose exit scammers" (referring to staff choice) - seriously just fuck off.

- Maybe it's because that staff member broke your trust and/or scammed you. (If you were scammed, chargeback and file a police report as you would any other procedure for large sums of money. Not that difficult.)
- Maybe it's because you didn't know that member originally and therefore it's the team's fault for selecting them.
- Maybe it's because you want something to hang shit on the team for not doing as well as you want.
