Stop Leaked Products

I haven't done too much research to see if this is already a thing but when people post links to leaked products on a person's thread, it's should be against the rules.

Not entirely sure how to explain this but lets say I was selling the plugin "plop" which I made and some douche buys it and then leaks it/gives free copies in a link. Not really sure how leaks work but I do know that re-sell rights must be obtained before giving copies away.

Ghost is trying to sell a product which Minemen gives out a free link for which virtually destroys any future business. Why buy it when you can get it for free. I feel this is totally unethical and shouldn't be allowed.

It is already forbidden to sell leaked stuff.
It is also already forbidden to advertise a product or service (even a free one) in someone else's selling thread. I'm not sure why you think it is not, but if something does that, report them, and they should get a serious amount of warning points, most likely leading to instant suspension.
Everything you've given as example is already forbidden, there just is not an explicit rule that says "don't buy someone's product then post the download link in the thread". Because making rules like that would mean a hundred thousand rules for every little thing

Well I know they can't sell leaked products however what if you're selling a brand new product, someone buys it or gets a hold of it somehow and leaks it, should the leaker be able to advertise his free leaked version of the product?
Now I'm not entirely sure if the product mentioned above was already leaked before the post was made however if not, that just seems wrong to then post a leaked version of their product.

Edit: did not read your post carfully enough. Shouldn't it be against the rules to buy then post a leaked version? It's usually listed in the seller's TOS but I don't think giving out free copies should be allowed period.

Myself being someone who uses leaked services, am quite a fan of it. I always use the leaked plugins before purchasing as I want to make sure it works and sometimes you can’t pay $140 for a XenForo license so you use a leaked one.

That's basic author's right, and you don't really need a rule for that, that's international copyright law. And yes, that applies to minecraft builds too, since it's the design and creation you're selling, not just a bunch of random blocks thrown together.
With accounts and other non-created products, it's more difficult, I'm not sure how that would work.
I use leaked software for some things myself, but that's because we're talking about a sum here that I was unable to afford even after being relatively successful, simply because this was my main income. I might be starting a company soon, and as soon as I do, I will be buying that software, because I'll be able to afford it. And I know that as long as I use the cracked version, I have nothing to brag about, since I'm technically denying the dev compensation for his efforts, even if he's not really the most caring or deserving type.

As such, I also do not think MCM should allow for any sort of leaking. If you want leaked stuff, you can go poke around on the leaking sites dedicated to the shady stuff.
