Hey,
I know that alot of new members (I did) fall for going first with someone who has 5 rep and end up getting scammed, most times not knowing how to properly navigate the site. I was thinking about making a popup banner that when any new member joins, its a small popup banner (available easily to all new members for a month on the side of the site ui) that goes over buy/selling as in "When you are skeptical with dealing with anyone, ask the community about the profile" and just general short tips that can prevent any new member from falling victim to the "I have more rep than you" and getting scammed untill they learn about proper trading practices. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, not every new member knows what that is... And we can't guide new member to the MM section, it's basically advertisement for Middle Men, however, it should be mentioned in the banner.

At the moment new users of the site have constant notices being shown to them about all of the fundamental information that they need to know. I feel like adding in another notice explaining that you should be careful of scammers realistically wouldn't stop anyone from being scammed. Being cautious when you're new is extremely important and while we do try to educate new users about the importance of middlemen, it doesn't really help.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
