There are some pretty big company owners on here. But I do see your point, in all honesty there are certain things that bug me a bit like people claiming they're a CEO when they don't even own a legal company, things like that.

I think in general it isn't a bad thing for someone to act professional though.

LMAO this whole thread is a shitshow.

Here's my two cents, I think that being formal and all that jazz is fine, but certain people are taking it too far. Instead of stating something simply, it ends up being unnecessarily long and out of place, considering this isn't really a "formal" environment.

Now, I'm no mind reader but I feel like most of these people put up this act to make up for their lack of credibility. Basically, faking it till they make it. 4 years ago I would've been kinda impressed by how professional they seemed, but now I know that it doesn't equate to them being good at whatever tf they're offering.

I guess for those self proclaimed CEOs or whatever, keep doing what you're doing but trust me one day you're going to have enough self awareness to stay up at night and cringe at how you used to act.

For those of us who dislike the way they act tho, we gotta remember that we had some sort of cringey ass phase too, maybe even multiple lmao. It's alright to have a laugh, but singling out someone who hasn't done anything to you is a bit much I think.

Sincerely,
A former 14 year old

Do I need to give lessons on how to roast while being passive aggressive? I'm seeing a lot of 3/10 replies here....

This thread is a shitshow but I agree, the whole thing with kids that are like 12 years olds acting like the CEO of fucking Microsoft is pretty funny when you see it.

People should be able to present themselves on the internet however they would like, it's not up to you to decide whether they are professional, cringe, funny, annoying, boring etc. etc. etc. It's just like real life.
If I said why doesn't everyone who likes music just stop liking music then you would think I was insane, that's kind of what you are doing here, you are telling people that act a certain way to stop acting that way. It is just who they are.
As long as people aren't negatively affecting other users on purpose then there is nothing wrong with the way they present themselves.
