never seen a forum as toxic as this in my life, you guys should start handing out bans.

obviously fair enough if somebody is warning about a potential scam but it's my first day on here and its awfully toxic

not saying I haven't sales trashed because i have but ya

I think of toxic people of people who are either jealous, or someone commited toxicity with them.
It can change a person's thoughts and can change them, but really there needs to be a few in the communitity so things can be balanced.
Though I'm more of a chill person, I can be bit toxic but that's when something toxic happened to me.

But you let your ego get to you. Don't blame others for being toxic when you have too much of an ego to post a picture of what you're selling after being called out on it.

Do you understand what a forum is?.... He made this thread with the INTENT for other's opinions, replies or for people to see how he feels. Why would you not respond. That' like someone is talking to you and but you dont want to be "toxic" so you don't respond. I don't know who does this but I sure as hell dont.

Anyway, Victim, how did you plan to have staff do that? Hand out warnings for every conflict? that will result in people just becoming more passive-agressive.
Banning people directly for being toxic becomes a deep pit of resentment VERY quickly. Toxicity is subjective, see? Unlike with scams, where it's possible to get the facts, or with ban evading where skype, IP etc can be matched, toxicity is very much subjective. Some people define it very loosely, calling anyone who disagrees with them in a non-suckup manner to be toxic, while others go the other way and won't call something toxic until death threats are being slung back and forth (exaggerations for the sake of making a point).

At present, people being seriously toxic will get warnings between 3 and 5 points. After that warning, a repeat offense will result in another set of points. Each 10 points earns the next suspension.

If you could give some examples of what you call toxic, and what you would do about it, we can discuss this in more detail. Because in essence it is true, this forum is way above average in toxicity. I'm just wondering what would happen if we start banning left and right for something subjective.

For a forum with younger people I guess your points are valid, but
I'm a part of a different community also where bans are given out upon sales trashing.
If the users of this market were somewhat mature, a warning or two would not make people more passive agressive.
