Omg just remove the .png at the end of the imgur link.
Again, it looks a lot better if the image shows up on the post instead of an error.

Instead of using gyazo, use lightshot...

Your probably an idiot. Gyazo doesn't even have any ads on the site, so impossible to get a virus.
You're*

And I don't know about now, I refuse to click links from there. A few years ago it did have ads and some of them were viruses. It was worse than something like adfly in that you didn't have to click on anything to trigger downloads. Just opening the page was enough. And it's not just me that says this, look it up before resorting to name calling or you're the idiot here . So yeah, even if they are better now, fuck them.

As a web developer, I can for sure say it is literally impossible to get a virus just by visiting a webpage and not clicking on ANYTHING. Unless of course, it auto-downloads an executable, but then you would still have to be dumb enough to actually execute the executable...
I never opened the executable. Just the fact it downloaded it was criminal though and I will never visit that site again. How is that okay just because I didn't open it? Its still a fucking terrible site. Any site that automatically downloads files containing a virus to your computer is a bad site. Why is the line in your book if you actually open the file? I don't care if now four years later they improved their site and that type of shit doesn't happen and I don't care that four years ago it only happened one out of the ten or so times i visited the site. Fuck them.

Thats because fools try to embed individual images. imgur albums work fine (worst case scenario you have to click on the album), and normal links work fine too.

For individual images you can use gyazo, but that's a pain for large amounts.[DOUBLEPOST=1465375458][/DOUBLEPOST]

I can confirm, this sort of thing does happen. I had it happen a while ago. I went image searching for a map of a country using a trusted search engine, clicked the "visit page" link, which crashed my browser and infected my pc.

These sort of thing can be blocked, however. I use both adblock, ghostery and blur. the latter 2 are tracker blockers, that block the little scripts that track your activity on a website. Combined with avast's web protection, I'm now completely safe from anything but my own stupidity (such as torrenting something infected).
